UFC150 - Emergency button removal

Parts and part numbers:
1x FRONT PLATE SOCKET 3480303300
5m TAPE ACRYLIC FOAM 12 mm GRAY 3221413610
1x jumper
Needed tools:
Heat gun and fishing line to remove original front plate

1. Turn OFF the external power supply, and ensure that there is no voltage within the charger.
2. Check ­no vehicle is plugged into any ­charging point­, and that there is no risk of voltage back feed.
3. Open left and right-side doors and fix them in place with their door latches.
4. Loosen the screws fixing the front panel and gently open the front door. Take care not to damage the flat ribbon cable connected to the HMI.

5. Extract the flat ribbon cable from the HMI connector.
6. Release screws holding EPO HOUSING and remove original FRONT plate

7. Remove remains of the original 3M tape from front door
8. Apply new FRONT plate without hole for Emergency button and new 3M tape.
9. Disconnect Emergency connector from button board located on HMI.
10. Connect jumper connector on place where was connected Emergency connector before.

11. Connect back ribbon cable connected to the HMI and close front door.
12.  Switch on the charger and test.
